I am the son of Russell Currans, a single family home builder from 1953 until 1975. I have always loved the fact that buying a home is the dream of all Americans. I attended the University of Kentucky and received a B.S. in Civil Engineering in 1971. Although I received my real estate license in 1968, I worked in the highway construction and coal mining industries for the next 20 years, until 1991.
In 1991 I built and operated a self-service carwash, in 1995 I built and operated a Chevron Food Mart at the current site of the Rock restaurant here in Paris. After selling these 2 businesses, I have been active in the real estate business full time and I have renovated and sold several single family homes in the Central Kentucky area. With the historical opportunity in the real estate business, I look forward to helping more and more families buy homes and fulfill their American Dream.
